Anger Management

Anger Management

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

for better relationships

"
Some dangers we face are real
from which there is no escape
We all try to copy good behavior
in our effort to get in better shape

In any search for more wealth
copying is a practice many of us do
If we do this without to much notice
a better bottom line will often ensue

Copying is also clearly seen
in the other things that we do
Even in the way we live our life
there is evidence of this too

Our frustration also causes our anger
it does more damage than we expect
An unwelcome fact we face every day
whenever we get no respect

Respect brings its own reward
that helps us all in every way
Behavior we should encourage
that can make others feel more okay

Behavior that others call good
is our chance for real insight
Granting anyone a valuable edge
in their hope for getting things right

Life is always more difficult
for anyone who feels alone
A source of the kind of frustration
that those with anger have shown

The anger can be prevented
when others will show their respect
It takes willingness to do our part
if we ever want people to connect
