Anger

Anger

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

Practicing what we preach
is not such an easy task
We all know what's right
We don't even have to ask

Most times we do the right thing
but sometimes it isn't so
We struggle with our own behavior
not knowing which way we should go

We can't control what others do
It's our actions that we have to answer for
Money and wealth shouldn't matter
Having less can be better than having  more

Bad behavior is never the answer
Anger can only make things worse
Avoid going down those wrong paths
It'll be nothing more than a curse

Thanks, Tmiller, for the review of my poem. I wrote the poem, but my friend Sam Freeland posted it for me. I exchange poems occasionally with him but rarely post them myself. Not sure why. Maybe Sam has more confidence in my writing than I do. :)

A great reminder for us....I find anger to be a weakness and yet so many people think that being angry is showing strength. Controlling our emotions is a difficult thing..
