It may be something inherent

to the satisfaction they achieve
Everyone sees life differently
avoiding the chances to grieve

 

We know what has happened
in many families before
Long life with successful children
is how many of us keep score

 

Numbers are less important
than the qualities of life they enjoy
Being happy and content
with the work that they employ

 

One way to a child's happiness
is having parents who show concern
It motivates their efforts
and enhances the ability to learn

 

It doesn't take a wise person
to always want the best
But it helps when everyone
lives their life with zest

 

Activity is closely related
to choosing the best ways to live
Taking good care of yourself
means there is more to give

 

Whatever we do with our life
is our one chance in the universe
Future generations may read
how we lived in a bit of verse
