Being a Fan

who is loyal

When you want to be a fan
there is a path you must take
be loyal and committed
all for your hero's sake

 

When your hero gets stuck
in the mire of the game
Show continued support
giving praise just the same

 

Be the leader in building
the fanbase he wants
To increase his confidence
and silence the taunts

 

Your hero will not forget
how you stood up for him
He will know what you did
was not just a whim

 

Our need for fans
is not so strange
It is sharing our love
a beautiful exchange

 

When some may deride
this connection we enjoy
It might help a bit
by being a little coy

 

Too much pressure
to get them to join in
Might reasonably be seen
as just another sin

 

If we show our spirit
with a more calm approach
Acceptance will be greater
and above reproach
