Big Problems Small Solutions

all must be faced

When we felt the ground shake
did it mean the end had come
Many urgent repeated warnings
will be heard by only some

 

The alert sound we are given
should tell us what to do
That is why it was sounded
so our losses would be few

 

Should some fail to follow
what the leaders have said
They may not be savable
becoming casualties instead

 

It is hard to face the truth
when your end may arrive
But nature's wrathful actions
means many will not survive

 

What everyone needs to know
we live in a world not our own
Survival here is temporary
as history has clearly shown

 

Time in this universe
is a measure not understood
We must spend our time creatively
finding actions that are good

 

Its not necessary to look far
for something we have to do
Our own health requires attention
and you know this is true

 

Taking care of own problems
will make us be more alert
Help shared with family and friends
doesn't require an expert
