Behavior

for success

Many observe life's drama
too few play an active part
The effort that some put forth
is how success gets its start

 

An audience is there to enjoy
while the acting is how we learn
When most are only bystanders
there is really cause for concern

 

Behavior that is creative
is one of the roles we play
Observers only pay admission
the actors earn their pay

 

The shortage of good actors
 is why they are paid so well
Their act is about creating
giving us products to sell

 

Behavior that mainly consumes
is what too many choose to do
We get a false standard of living
when to workforce has too few

 

Every successful venture
has always started small
With low pay and hard work
requiring long hours for all

 

Government is better when small
not as likely to be bought
Waste and pork-barrel spending
should definitely be fought

 

With more independent voters
who work for what they earn
Business will create more jobs
and better times will return
