Civil Wars

lack being civilized

All humans support civil wars
the real question is who will lose
Rich and powerful leaders
will be the ones who get to choose

Wealth and power are a necessity
for those deciding who will win
The poor will have to take what is left
before peacetime can ever begin

When the poor outnumber the rich
everyone can get back to work
Most have the harder jobs
the rich get to exploit their perk

Civil includes all citizens
both the rich and the poor alike
The poorer can join in unions
giving power to their strike

The basis of a multi-party system
gives citizens a chance to decide
If they choose competent leaders
we will all have a good ride

Self-interest will never go away
it is the reason for the civil war
That is why it includes everybody
always looking for more

The more people in a society
the less most members will get
If the rich will not share their wealth
a civil war will be the best bet

Any interest in human survival
means more will have to agree
To life on earth with more sharing
for the peace we hope to see
