Sacrifice

is sharing

Sacrifice is personal
and should be made with care
If the goal is for the greater good
it is an act we could share

 

The problem with greater good
 it may not be understood
If the greater good is preferential
it assumes more than it should

 

Gifts have been a blessing
for the receivers as has been said
 Sanctifying the Giver
for the way He has led

 

Simpler gifts are more common
that you and I can give
No less appreciated
in our struggle to live

 

That is why any real sacrifice
shares holiness in the deed
Especially when the receiver
 is in such a dire need

 

Whenever we set an example
for others in our care
Any sacrifice we make will help
in the way we learn to share

 

Since sharing is so important
in everything we do
If you have some words to add
