Forgive

Forgive

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

the only solution

"

6/9/63

They are gone

No more to be seen

Cannot be glad

No point to be sad

They will find love

As they have been given

We must all move on

There's still a lot of livin

My memory's still sharp

Our past lives in me

We had bonded so well

They may come to see

That when they have grown

We are all much the same

We will eventually find

There is no one to blame

Love comes and love goes

One can never be sure

Just start up again

It's the only cure

tremendous insight, this is a surrending of heart, nostalgic, the meaning
reflects a powerful thought to ponder, actually quite touching in scope,
contemplating what it is when the one's around have passed on, and the
power that lies in the meaning is absolutely subtle in a wispful haunting
compexity, sam, this is a expressional, artful and speaks of understanding
that leaves the reader feeling embraced by the sense of forgiveness, the
form captures your thoughts with smoothely, i feel enlightened! mike

very nice. i liked this one a lot, and the rhyming flowed very well.

"We will eventually find

There is no one to blame"

a simple statement, yet within this poem these lines stood out even more than usual. :)

forgiveness.... such a hard thing to tackle, but you handled it well within this piece :) so go you

Nice simpliciticity in the thoughts in this poem and in the rhyming scheme.
You might switch line 2 and 3 to keep it flowing that way.
