Reflection

A Story by Sam Freeland
"

past, present, future

"

If you ever take the time to reflect upon the nature and direction of your life, you may realize that the complexity of how you got here is truly immense. Start if you will with the two cells you were given to begin your life in the friendliest environment that you have ever experienced. Not as friendly as some have had, but certainly better than those who had to survive in a primitive, disease prone African village with no pure water, medical help or balanced diet for anyone. I would say that you really lucked out.

The nurturing that you had for several years of your early life was pretty amazing; or you would not be reading this. You were extremely fortunate. You took that help and made

thousands of good and bad choices to get where you are today.

What are you doing each day now, to aid in the kind of future

that many others are having, and you wish you could have?
