Disappointment

Disappointment

caused by not writing

Disappointment

The weather outside can be frightful

and spoil all the plans you have had

You may miss what you wanted to do

a reason to feel more than sad

What we get in our days all the time

is more when we still are alive

So be happy with what you get

and do your best to survive

It is hard to talk about the future

the past was all about fun

We wonder what others enjoyed

before our life had begun

I have never seen writing like this

to tell me what my family thought

It would have been a joy for me

to know the battles they fought

Maybe they were too modest to think

there would be anyone else who cared

It was one of their greatest mistakes

since their are other writers who shared

They say handwriting is on the wall

for anyone willing to look

Whatever you try to write

is the best way to start your book

If you never finish your book

it will still be a story you wrote

Telling your future family

of events that they might take note

The value of recording the past

has always been a future need

That is how we all got here

in our determined effort to succeed
