Longevity determines life span
an event no one can escape
Our connection and our future
are longer if we stay in shape

 

This requires our attention
to everything we do
Each choice has an effect
that is very timely too

 

Some media will report
both the beginning and the end
So many can try to answer
whatever did you intend

 

Our lives will be recalled
in many different ways
Were we here for thousands
or for many fewer days

 

Did you live hard and die young
as many chose to do
Or were you among those
who lamented their choices too

 

There is the master plan
that you and fate can create
Will your end come sooner
or maybe more fashionably late

 

Time gives those who care
a chance to ponder and decide
Did you use your longevity
to give you a proper ride

 

Whatever choices you make
we will be there with you
Spending our eternal future
with not a lot to do
