We got this far with effort

it was the best that we could do

Now smile and be a sport

enjoy being one of the few

 

By reading you can understand

what it takes to still battle on

Our future is now at hand

the past is forever long gone

 

Many still depend on you

your confidence gives them hope

By doing what you can do

you will show them how to cope

 

Leading is a renewable ploy

a necessary part of any act

It gives us a chance to enjoy

no matter what we lack

 

The reason we have come this far

some were brave enough to lead

It took many who could follow

and help those who were in need

 

The living will continue to exist

in one form or another

Humans may still be around

if they learn the meaning of brother

 

It will take everyone's help

to find the best way to live
