Redistribution

Redistribution

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

blessing or curse

"
The cost of living will go up
due to those cannot pay
Their hardships will be borne
by earners who will say nay

The redistribution of wealth
is the force behind this plan
Laws enacted by Congress
enforced by a presidential man

The country has been controlled
by the largest election vote
Otherwise we can live in anarchy
not very good one should note

So what is the future for us
if we want to enjoy local peace
We may have to pay if we can
or our troubles will increase

More died in our Civil War
than all other wars combined
Not the best hope for our future
as even every earner will find

Equality was never the case
in any place or in any time
Some will benefit or some lose
that is the nature of the crime

The power to enforce any laws
has been a blessing to us all
There is still time to cast a vote
in the next election in the fall

It is a peaceful way to survive
with or without what we have
For anarchy and a conflict
there has never been a salve
