The Beginning

The Beginning

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

of our language

"
Where did it all begin
this wonderful life with sin
It began for me and you
when our mind told us to

The mind so magically great
tells us how we can create
We begin when we know
words to help our intelligence grow

Create was creare to every scribe
 intelligent thinkers in the tribe
They wrote more often in Latin
the language that invented sin

When you are there at the start
it is due to being smart
You get the chance to show
the direction we should go

Others will have to follow
with minds blank and hollow
There is nothing else they can do
but listen to what is true

With no scribes we would be nowhere
not that many folks would care
Communication would be very poor
as humans searched for a cure

Admitting where it all began
is a help to any intelligent man
Having been given their assistance
the future offered little resistance

So find something you can do
to help others learn this too
If you want to acquire a fan
be the person who says I can

Just as a cabinet maker chooses his tools with diligence, a heart surgeon chooses the proper scalpel to make the cut, or even a professional golfer or baseball player decides which club or bat to swing based on the conditions, a writer has a special advantage... We have unlimited words to choose from and when we cannot find the one that is exactly right, we can make it up!

By the way, not all intelligence is human. Check out some of the writings of a very close friend called Brown Bull see if you can find the message to all humans coded in "The Butterfly"
