Never Ending Poem

This is a special poem
That I am sharing with you
Hoping you’ll add your own words
So that you can contribute too

The thoughts you write down today
Will be enjoyed in every home
With careful consideration
This will surely become a great poem

You should know of the reward
That you will likely receive
Knowledge and creativity
Is yours if you believe

The only rule there is
Requires adding some words here
The changes that you make
Should not be anything to fear

It is obvious that I like rhyme
Because it is easier to read
If you change a rhyming word
Success will be yours indeed

In case you wonder about my plan
There’s something else I must say
I truly enjoy sharing writing
As we do at WritersCafe

It’s a place where many enjoy
What others like to write
Poets from around the world
Flock to this Internet site

All that I hope will happen
Is seeing what you will say
As this poem continues to change
I hope it will brighten your day!

And with no limit to our words
this poem will surely grow.
While others join our little quest
as down this path we'll go.

Oh, now I'm getting emotional, thinking about Dorothy and the lion and those guys on the yellow brick road... By the way, why didn't they have any cows in that movie? I'm going to call my lawyer.
