Pain Again

Pain Again

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

learn to love it

"

Pain at night
even worse than at day
Interrupting sleep
it  is useless to pray

Not a valid complaint
it is of no use
Complaints are for all
who want to be obtuse

In case you didn't know
obtuse means being stupid
Any problem complainers have
is due to what they did

Every day in every way
there is something more that's bad
What happens to us is our doing
just accept it and be glad

For if we had no pain
it would likely be
A condition where
we could never feel rain

In that state
with no feeling at all
It would be our lot
 to miss everyone's call

So bless the pain
it means you are still alive
You have now found out
what it's like to survive

I won't complain any more
because now I know
It would only mean
I was the worst in the show

Oh my gosh, that was incredible. I don't know if your going through this kind of pain or not but i wouldn't know the difference because you write like you've been there many times. So, insanely amazing job! If you really are in pain I'm very sorry and feel free to message me about it if you'd like.
