The Path Ahead

The Path Ahead

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

lead don't follow

"
Plot and plan like every man
until the day is won
its what we do until we're through
once we have begun

Reason never was the answer
the drive was always there
no matter how the question came
the need would make us dare

Begin the fight for what is right
the past is now in charge
no new rule will cause denial
our goal in life is large

Why this course is so
we may never know
 just follow the path ahead
no fear can ever stem the flow

Plans begin somewhere within
nature always seems to know
success or failure happens
what we do is what is so

No antidote can give us pause
as action drives us on
our time is here and now
soon we will all be gone

Time the greatest mystery
so little understood
the real measure of our life
as we search for the good

Question not the path of life
just do the best you can
little else will ever make any sense
in your effort to live your plan

I like this...everyone does have a plan for their life...but are plan doesnt matter...its Gods plan that matters the most...and time does fly and we shall die...but some of us will live on with the Lord our God...and the time is drawing near...but all we can do is fallow the path He lays for us...and pray to do his will...so everyone might see that he is real
Very nice poem indeed :)
