Direction

Direction

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

determines the results

"
The direction of our life
tells where we will go
when we go to the right
we may find our soul

The word right is defined
as the choice to prefer
getting left out alone
we never want to occur

Our brain has developed
with two hemispheres
in the left half we are alone
in the right we share tears

The left can say clearly
this is who I am
the right knows nirvana
devoid of the sham

If you still don't understand
what I have been saying here
you have not seen Jill Bolte Taylor
telling what you need to hear

So go right now
and join with those who know
of the better direction
we all need to go

In a fast computer
go to Google on line
put in Jill Bolte Taylor
her video is better than fine

You will be telling your friends
about seeing the video too
they might even join us
nothing better we could do

Dr. Taylors talk was beautiful, thank you for recommending it this morning.
Keep writing Sam.

this is a fine tribute to what you hold close to your heart, rhymes with ease and control.
actually heartfelt and sentimental, beautifully written and expressed.
