the choice to live

Tough Times

 

Tough times are good
as we will soon find
needing to do as we should
to not get further behind

 

The struggle to succeed
brings out our best
to keep going forward
success will not rest

 

We got behind
by sitting still
the rest of the world
worked with more will

 

Now that you know
more effort is required
you must not complain
about always being tired

 

Those who won't take
their share of the work
will just have to suffer
as they go berserk

 

Anyone who chooses
to refuse doing their share
will soon find that others
will deny them their care

 

Survival is not a game
played at other's expense
it is a serious business
losers will soon sense

 

Slackers should beware
of what their future will be
if they don't get up and help
in our effort to be free
