Thanksgiving Blessing

Thanksgiving Blessing

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

to their first

"
Jack
Innocently handsome
in these his earliest years
Jack looks forward bravely
to a life with no fears
He knows his Mother Lauryn
will show him her lead
She is right there at his side
satisfying his every need
When your Dad Chris returns home
and gazes down upon you with love
Your family trio will be complete
For this we give thanks to God above
Their family having begun
with Jack being the first one
He will fill his role as a leader
being surpassed by none
As the years come and go
He will stand on his own
always giving help to others
who might ever feel alone
All of his extended family
including everyone here today
Are grateful this Thanksgiving
and we all want to say...
Thank you Jack for being
such a wonderful child who can
show us how it all begins
as you grow from boy to man
