The Cure

The Cure

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

an answer

"
Though I miss the love
that won't come again
may the wail of my pain
 have no refrain

Since we cannot choose
the option for this
it's better to find
a dear friend to kiss

Life goes on its merry way
don't get left behind
there is little more to say
its about whom you can find

The search won't take long
dear friends you have known
they really want to help
so you won't be so alone

The search for your friend
will give a true beginning
and the love you send
 soon will have you grinning

Get started right now
there is no need to wait
 thinking about your pain
 will only make you late

She is waiting for you
hoping you will come
together you'll find  joy
your pain will be overcome
