PainA Poem by Sam Freelandno friend of minepain is in your mind
its your body crying foul no matter what kind of living in denial as you wait for it to end
hoping that it will it does its best to send you screaming up a hill bodies evolved having pain
to keep you in touch they say it will help you to live doctors tell you this much when the pain has passed
your memory does forget you hope it won't come again but that is only a poor bet it is hard to tell another
it may say that I am weak can't I have some drug before it sends me up a creek this awful state of mind
I believe I must explain I truly hope to find a way to end this bane as soon as I can say
that pain has left me alone should it ever come again I will not be at home © 2008 Sam FreelandReviews
