The Future of Nature

 

Nature is so complex
including everything living
if we knew more of ourselves
we might be more giving

 

The gifts of nature
often taken for granted
are gifts to us all
in a world so enchanted

 

Enjoying its beauty
something learned by too few
it sings beautiful music
 frequently missed too

 

Life on this planet
something different for all
those who protect nature
are answering God's call

 

All nature is alive
doing its best to exist
it is over-population
that we need to resist

 

Any time reproduction
gets out of control
it grows like a cancer
always taking its toll

 

Humans know the problem
that happens with weeds
it occurs everywhere in nature
when nature over-seeds

 

We are the nature
which we need to protect
we must use our intelligence
for our numbers to be correct
