The Plan

that may succeed

Even having the choice
that should be ours to make
it could be another's voice
controlling the route we take

 

Living with what is
will usually be the rule
 to make the best choice
we cannot listen to some fool

 

By carefully weighing the odds
before making our choice
success is much more likely
and it will be in a shared voice

 

We all need the help
of those who are in control
choose to listen to a leader
who understands his role

 

Our future success
in this one life we own
 will be to never do less
than the best we have known

 

When it is our turn to decide
what others must do
any plan we wish to share
will need their help to get us there

 

We cannot go it alone
when there is so much to do
success is a community effort
you had better believe this too
