some with more spirit
others with more soul
and both you know
 affect the body below

 

spirit has elan
soul likes prayer
both mindsets exist
somewhere in there

 

if you had asked Leonardo
about which he had
he might have wondered
if you might be mad

 

he was far too busy
painting and inventing
his beliefs had patience
to prevented relenting

 

what could one learn
from what he did
choose to study nature
he began this as a kid

 

it taught him so much
his whole life through
probably the best choice
to teach more to you

 

using his intelligence
he tried to find out
what being a human
was all about

 

many enemies he had
because he wanted to know
it will be ever thus
from others so slow

 

in his earnest search
to become more aware
he did not let the church
prevent his getting there

 

  having the courage
to do what you believe
you will find more truth
as you try to achieve
