the power of you

 

 

human composites of energy

really do have to make a choice

enjoy the pleasures that they now have

or become nothing and have no voice

 

the universe will soon absorb you

as it has for others now gone

energy disapated into entropy

the rest of us singing your song

 

the beliefs you enjoy while living

should be indulged while still aware

existentially a kind of giving

to yourself because you care

 

if these words fail to make sense

my truth may not be what you need

nothing I believe should incense

your truth is part of your creed

 

God may not have created the world

we still believe as others do

and enjoy making others happy

by writing I try to care for you

 

if anyone learns to express

what they hope to send as love

the way they understand God

will hopefully decend from above
