Rewards

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

for behavior

"
By doing what others cannot do
you become a big fish in a small pond
You will be well rewarded now
and for many years beyond

Since anyone can do this
its an open door to success
Notice the best succeeders
they always give more not less

Some also seek less not more
of the attention others highly prize
They are too busy working today
 giving mind and body exercise

The choice is yours to make
just watching others who win
Or stand up and participate
now is your time to begin

This will also get more likes
because watchers are still poor
You will even be showing them
a better way for their cure

Don't let dismay for the poor
distract you from surging ahead
You only have one life to live
as the wise so often have said

You may be well rewarded in Heaven
if that is what you choose to believe
Even those who don't go to Heaven
many rewards they will receive

We all get what we deserve
due to all of the choices that were made
Some will succeed better than others
I can only hope you made the grade
