Awakening

of feelings

　

words like gentle rain

fall from a poetic mind

sending a message of love

an expression so kind

to be sharing some love

by the muse there inside

is a beautiful feeling

given with eyes open wide

so easy to be held back

by what others write

what will happen

if you share your light

expressing love in rhyme

gives it a musical tone

in the way some song lyrics

say we are not alone

we all have a beginning

in what we try to do

and with a loving approach

it may be seen as true

any poem you write

will show you are brave

there is no better way

to speak of love you gave

so begin your write

and share what you feel

you will know yourself better

and life will seem more real
