A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

and ye shall find

"
Being forgetful is a problem
less true of the young than the old
Anyone can be forgetful
forgetting what they were told

Becoming absentminded
is a pain the old must endure
But losing your car keys
is a major problem for sure

Starting any new task
when the first is not done
Can require us to search
for what before was begun

Search can be maddening
when the lost cannot be found
Blaming another for the loss
is a practice usually unsound

Retracing the steps you made
is the best first thing to do
What you see as you walk
may jog your memory too

When you find what was lost
if there was someone you blamed
You will need to forgive them
or its you that should be shamed

Whenever we face the truth
we solve an important need
Our mind will become focused
on whatever we read

Suggestions to correct
 forgetful situations abound
When I remember one
it will be found
