Try This

Try This

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

for success

"

Money makes the world go around
or so the saying goes
How much you'll need in a lifetime
no one really knows

For richer or poorer
are words in a marriage vow
Is life easier without it
I really can't see how

To say you can live on love alone
some will say is not  fact
Commitment, trust and caring
are vital in your pact

If we're lucky to have a little
 of everything mentioned above
We'll walk through this world
forever growing in true love
;-)

Having just read "A Tip," i wanted to read more of your poems. This is a gem. Thoughtful and wise, with the plus that it is expertly rhymed and metered (the type of poetry that I most enjoy reading and writing). It is romantic to think that one can live on love alone, but sadly it can't survive without some amount of money.
