This poem is about money
mostly about who pays
Keeping each person alive
all of their living days

 

You are an expensive debit
true whether you know it or not
Someone will have to pay
maybe more than they have got

 

If this is true for you
be more careful how you spend
Their supply of money to keep you
definitely has an end

 

In case this is a wake-up call
this poem is written for you
If you are able to read further
there are acts that you should do

 

Like preparing to earn your share
the effort will test your worth
Some who are really worthless
spend a lot increasing their girth

 

Before I say any more
I must compliment those who know
They have been acting smart for years
and telling others the way to go

 

Their finances are in order
people depend on them everywhere
They spend most of their lives
finding new ways to care

 

If you envy their success
and the money they have to spend
Don't just sit on your posterior side
your days too will end
