Reality is the truth
I might last to eighty four
the indications are clear
from old muscles now sore

 

Not good to ask for a lot
it never does any good
Be happy with what you got
if you've done what you should

 

Poetry is a blessing
to record now and forever
About joys we have had
when you never say never

 

Don't expect too much
what you get will be less
You already know the truth
so you won't have to guess

 

There are many examples
that we may try to use
Like some day we will go on
an extended life cruise

 

Imagination will help
and it takes up the time
You also know its true
poetry is not a crime

 

Now you have the message
put it on your new iPhone
Send it to your friends
who may also be alone

 

You'll be glad that you did
you hoped it helped a lot
You did what you could
the best attitude we've got
