At Writer'sCafe

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

home for poets

"
Everyone using the Internet
Needs a good a connection
If your computer has AOL
you've made the right selection

Anyone who likes to write
can get help learning their skill
It isn't about being bright
Its about exercising your will

Good writers have found a home
And most do not use rhyme
At the Cafe you are not alone
You get reviews most of the time

You know from what you've read
That good writing will last forever
At the Cafe it has been said
That the writers are very clever

Each line that is created
Helps their poems to make sense
They hope readers will be elated
And will never take offense

If you ever have wondered
What is hidden in each line
There is beauty unencumbered
No waist of a poets time

You will see as you read
The reason why poets write
Their poems fill their need
Always trying to shed some light

Since so many have spent
All those hours at the Cafe
The message they have sent
Should help to make your day
