Measurement

Measurement

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

in the Universe

"
Dimensions

The universe has dimensions
length, width, and height
Don't try measure them all
because many are out of sight

When considering there are four
take time and watch the clock
Listen carefully as hours pass
they will go tick tock

Newton didn't need a watch
to see the apple fall
Adam picked his own apples
since he was very tall

When he gave one to Eve
she thought it was very good
She answered with a smile
no one heard her say she would

They say Einstein studied space
and he lived very long
Later we would learn
that his measurement was wrong

Light is a form of energy
that moves very fast
They can be put together
making one terrible blast

Even when there were six
and strings hung in a row
There were still five more
that we had to know

Though mathematics has said
there probably are eleven
our God may know of more
since He rules in heaven
