Differences

can change things

Everyone is different
in many signicant ways
It usually gets our attention
especially when its who pays

 

We get used to how we act
since we are there for the effect
We react very quickly
when we want to connect

 

Connections are important
in finding a new friend
It makes us pay attention
and often try to pretend

 

If the difference is discovered
the truth may not be hid
The new friend may wonder
if I am only talking to a kid

 

Age differences are a problem
for those not there before
The older one seems wiser
the younger not knowing the score

 

The benefit of the difference
may be what the elder can do
Giving aid to the younger
having more experience too

 

If dependency is a blessing
it may last a very short time
Affecting the the relationship
to the one not in their prime

 

Where you stand in the union
should never be ignored
Boredom may be the penalty
which very few can afford
