success or failure

Taking life as it comes

is expecting it to be the same

This is never true

not the way to play life's game

Choosing the past

as a substitute for the future

Speaks loudly as a poor choice

with failure and no cure

Mindless for sure

also tinged with fear

Sureley not pleasant

not what you wanted to hear

Question any thought

that makes you feel better

Inherent is the weakness

that will make you a debtor

If you want to live longer

there is something you must do

Look more closely at reality

it will be waiting for you

Choosing wisely will mean

taking one step at a time

Too quick a movement

is the source of the crime

All bodies get wiser

as the years pass us by

Experience is the reason

giving soundness to the try

If you are accident prone

you will see yourself here

Take advice from the aged

who know the meaning of fear
