Crime of Life

Crime of Life

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

a choice

"
Suffer yes, give in no
this kind of crime
Cannot solve
any hope to go

Blind belief explains
lost and gone
Reason nil nothing will
escape the dawn

Hold on tight
restart the fight
Time will come
shine the sun

Pain is sure
very pure
It is the cure
without allure

Expect your share
you will be there
Nothing's fair
absent of care

Stopping short
sans report
This is the court
of last resort

The  will to win
means begin again
A look with a grin
will erase the sin

You started this task
so do not ask
The only reward
you'll not be bored
