no get

Everyone knows about give

learned when we were born

Our mother did this for us

if she could do it without scorn

In a land of the free

mother takes her rightful place

When men control the scene

it is simply not the case

When men are in control

they do what their father did

They go to war and kill

doing as they had been bid

It is not new with humans

we are animals like all the rest

But when mothers have a say

society is at its best

Mothers are about survival

they hate war and the lives lost

If men would learn to listen

humans could avoid the awful cost

But this only happens rarely

in some free societies today

Most humans would rather kill

they think it is the only way

If you understand this message

there is still something you can do

Stop caring about a rich future

and give more to others too

Every gift will take us closer

to a life that is more free

And if you really believe it

much happier we all will be

Nicely written. Our parents strongly influence our behavior. Mothers are often the peacemakers. Hopefully there's a good nurturing balance between both parents and their children.
