You have known  this for years
its what she chooses to do

 

The menu is vast
visible up on the wall
She will bring a menu
listing the restaurant's all

 

Be sure to ask
how each meal is prepared
Allison wants to please you
you should know she cared

 

The cheese-steak is served
in many different ways
Be sure to get the extras
if you are hungry it pays

 

I have had the Steak & eggs
for many happy years
The strip steak is my favorite
more good food than it appears

 

Since you have noticed
how her smile never ends
Tell her your latest joke
so she can share it with friends

 

I have posted several poems
as writerscafe wants them said
Don't praise this restaurant
praise Allison instead

 

They avoid any advertising
to keep your message pure
And when you read the other poems
you will be amazed I'm sure
