needed

When things go wrong
most solutions take time
Much more in some problems
if the problem led to a crime

 

Our legal system helps the needy
also anyone having wealth
The NRA has a problem
fighting solutions with stealth

 

Laws are made by politicians
most with a legal background
Forestalling good solutions
every term we have found

 

Does that indicate
some solutions are hopeless
Not when people love and care
clueless people will never get there

 

Take some time now
to honor every brave defender
There lives were lost
trying to stop a mad pretender

 

If the tragedy at Sandy Hook
doesn't move feckless politicians
They should be garbage bound
with the rest of the trash

 

Join with me in speaking out
the whole world should hear us cry
If we don't get their attention
              God above will wonder why
