Critics

with nothing better

You must have noticed
what a critic leaves out
A plan for something better
and their mind full of doubt

 

Its the old blame game
that incompetents like to use
Throwing only hollow grenades
without any fuse

 

Instead of looking for good
they would rather criticize
They have no plan that's better
just a pocket full of lies

 

They muddy the water
with angry vituperation
Showing personal jealously
like an unknowing relation

 

Self-interest is their practice
behavior the week hold dear
Since they haven't something better
their comments only create fear

 

If their record showed better
we would hear what it was
But they make it very obvious
their head is full of fuzz

 

They need a lot of listeners
who are limited and don't care
With no plans of their own
that would get us anywhere

 

It is different for the doers
who are carrying out good plans
Getting the difficult job done
instead of being only also-rans
