Our cause and its effect

is our reason to exist

Without it we are less

this is really our choice

If choice is how we act

it shows our mind is involved

Owning the right to decide

gives the power to improve

We define who we are

with every thought we have

Our being is reflected

for everyone to see

With thoughts that come and go

our future will be described

The only certainty we will know

in our effort to cope

All beings have a language

of mental want and need

Making existence meaningful

our excuse for being alive

All the above is private

until we choose to share

Summing our mutual existence

and adding a new dimension

Every word states our cause

with effect being the result

Take charge of your life

and have a notable past

The effect will be remembered

by words that you write
