Improvement

requires change

 

Improving means changing
 with acts of hope and expect
The desire of being better
where we failed to connect

 

Realities of our past
have a very great hold
To change our environment
requires being more bold

 

Acts of change are exciting
when good triumphs bad
We need the new direction
if we hope to be glad

 

Letting go of some habits
takes courage and denials
We may soon see the light
after some successful trials

 

Easy does it fails the task
when it is hard to let go
Failures we had in the past
certainly told us so

 

By beginning each day
with this new resolve
You can confront problems
that your acts may solve

 

Change can have real limits
being hard and causing distress
Make changes in small steps
or you may end with less

 

More success is what we expect
it is what we wanted from the start
Looking forward to improvement
not tearing ourself apart
