MAINTAINING MOTION

MAINTAINING MOTION

A Poem by SaltOfTheEarth

Maintaining motion while halting your exhalations is typically pseudo-scientific.
What's terrific is the sense of self from admiration, self examination.
An exhilaration from within.
I hope we all can learn from this.

It's the meaninglessness, the collective subconscious.
The emptiness that fills our breath.
The consciousness which with we're blessed.

I know we all can learn form this.

Stay asleep or choose to wake from the dream.
Deny the negativity and decide if you believe.

Tommy's talking, but no one's trying to listen.
He's trying to open up about his addictions and everything that he feels they should hear.
Now, Tommy's not responding and instead of, he puts a single round in his Daddy's old Beretta.
He misses him and then everything becomes clear:
"Fear is the only thing left to fear."
