DEFYING GRAVITY

DEFYING GRAVITY

A Poem by SaltOfTheEarth

Bury the ones you love and burn the rest.
Is it wrong to question quintessential countenance?
Feed my ego to the gills.
One go around before the impact instills.

Be mind, be mind.
Be mindful.
Be mind.
Be mindful of the ones you love.
Be kind, be kind.
Be kinder now, until the bodies hit the ground.

Sell the institution for dollars and cents.
All according to your sixth sense.
I'll hold my breath until my lungs collapse.
I'll let your shadow cast the blame before I react.

A shocking reality of defying gravity:
Manipulating entropy is not as easy as it seems.
Though, tell that to my dreams.
