Chase for Nothing

Chase for Nothing

A Poem by Maan
"

Chasing an unknown dream, like chasing a stranger, like chasing for my own shadow.

"
Tired of chasing fireflies,
They can never be mine,
Feeling’s so real,
Searching blindly,
Can’t believe it was me,
Can’t believe it was you,
Two lonely souls,
Looking for a way back home,
Falling down the hill,
You were the reason,
Now there’s nothing left for me,
Stained path,
No hand to hold,
I won’t forgive the forces,
The ones that took you away,
Sore and shattered,
In pieces,
Trying to overcome the pain,
Can’t retreat now,
Facing the temper of destruction,
Diluting simultaneously,
Losing the senses,
Deprived of existence,
Just a wandering soul,
Fading with the pain.

This is great. I need to read it a couple more times to get the true feel. But from the first read, it instantly reminds me of Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. I really like this poem!

Not really much to say about what I am or anything about me. Its like I've never find myself in the spheres of something and something not, I always wander somewhere in between them, all I get is the .. more..
