My Reality in a Dream

My Reality in a Dream

A Poem by Maan
"

A dream that carry the reality of me.

"
As night approaches
I find myself here again,
with my dreams,
with myself,
no one to bother
no one to care,
I lay in my bed,
In my sacred place,
where I dream,
of every probability,
every improbability,
I dream to fly,
I dream to be lost,
I dream to wander
In the jungles,
In the oceans
I want to fly
see the world
and beyond
through the skies
I want to explore the galaxy
I want to reach the unreachable
and experience everything that exists
I want to be lost
and never be found
somewhere far from here
and hope that I never find
where I was
or where I will be
here I am again
with my dreams
with myself

Author's Note

Maan
The word DREAM inspired me to write something about it that relates to me as well.Thousands of dark and bright thoughts came and gone, few picked and rest dropped. I felt like writing a whole book from that idea. :p but I tamed myself and this is what I ended up with. Do let me know your views about it.

Thanks to my friend Junaid (The Jay), who amended my original poem and shaped that into a lot better one.

ah, dreams, so many possibilities. we can do many things in dreams, but rarely by choice. sometimes they seem to have meaning, others one can't help think they must be either high or insane. dreams truly are by their own definition, dreams.

Wonderful write, i particularly related to the part "I want to fly
see the world
and beyond
through the skies
I want to explore the galaxy
I want to reach the unreachable
and experience everything that exists
I want to be lost
and never be found
somewhere far from here
and hope that I never find
where I was
or where I will be"

this almost sounds like you're doing an astral-projection.
i think you've inspired me to dwell on the realm of dreams for a bit. :)
i wish there was more writing of this!

Your poem nicely portrays the colorful imagination, although I've heard it said that we don't dream in color. I wouldn't know about that. What I noticed about this piece is how far reaching our imagination can be. This is what really separates us from the animals; that and a good order of french-fries. Your poem is well done.

lovely, vivid and very imaginative. i like it the format and font colors(it makes the dreams more colorful). dreams seems to be our escape from the harsh reality sometimes. great job my friend.

Lovely poem. I love the repetition and the way the words flow together into an image of a person of longing :)
Keep writing! I wanna see how far you can go!!! :D

Not really much to say about what I am or anything about me. Its like I've never find myself in the spheres of something and something not, I always wander somewhere in between them, all I get is the .. more..
