Falling ...

There are times we fall for the wrong people and can never get that part of us we give them back and sometimes we get it right.

I fell for you like a falling star, 

Sparkling ever brighter in my descent

You held your hand out palm towards the heavens

and broke my fall, you clasped me gently, reverently

The very deepest part of me, my essence glowing in your hand

My heart now belongs to you, I am yours eternally.

Nice imagery.. I get the sense that when you fall you fall hard and with every part of you....I'm glad you found someone strong enough to catch you and yet gentle enough not to break you
