Love InfinityA Story by Sarmad Salar''Love is blind, not blind, but beyond the sight of a person in love'' A narative with infinite love, nostalgia and despair
Love is blind, not blind, but beyond the sight
of a person in love. It makes the infertile lands, fertile again. OH! Such a
beautiful heart, can it be to keep the feelings to be heard and felt. Mounted on
a horse, passing by the mesmerizing fields and crazy gardens… A place life
becomes alive. Winter blows started which made him to use his
muffler. He could still feel that scent, he could’ve admired that more than
anything else. A few things he could get as a present. Eight ages of travelling through various rows
and streets of life made him a rough and a silent person with a stoned heart. He
never thought at once, someone could break those stones and enters into it like
this. How rude to think like that? It's love here which proved him weak and he
wanted to be on his knees very soon. He stopped, calmed, contented. Dismounted,
patting his ride. It was the very same place where he spent most of the time of
his life. But he didn’t remain there for long. But perhaps, he could not
enjoy his return journey of this time if he had spent a long tenure here.
Wait brings joy. He came this morning and the first thing he wanted to do was
with his horse, his first love. He was indeed an excellent horse rider. He smiled at ‘Aren’t you hungry sweetheart? I know you are….
You know it well, I can’t stop your meals, but let them wait for you’. He
laughs, ‘My poor, old fellow’. ‘Okay then…’ he let his horse free so he can
eat green grass. He sat beside him, still looking at him like he wanted to be
looked by someone who really cares with a smile on his face. He recalled that
when his father brought him this horse, he used to narrate different stories
before him, considering ‘thru’ silent and lazy mostly. ‘How childish, I am’, he
thought. ‘Hey, you still won’t mind if I tell you a story?’ ‘Right then, it was not more than a year and
a half passed. You can’t believe I fell in love dude, I fell in love with the one
whom I have never seen since past seven years. It was all uncertain, rather pathetic
and love or both at once. We started talking on the phone of course, it’s 21St
Century. We talked and talked throughout these years with no intentions to see
each other. Actually, we were childhood friends, we dove
together into the ocean where we were surrounded with alphabets and
mathematics. There was drawing too, which tortured me more than the Monday
morning. But then we separated. We never talked since we
drank a bit of liquid from that ocean as per required. She searched me and
found me from somewhere and suddenly stood in front of me from nowhere. We started talking again and again throughout
the days and nights. It was not me whom he talked, but perhaps a person with no ears,
she talks a lot…. Have you read Shakespeare? ‘Give every man thy But
few She might have read or heard by someone this.
But still, I listened silently, but like you do. I think that like you are listening
silently, nodding and producing such voices to me, make me feel highly esteem
and respected by you so do the people on this planet earth feel for each other.
Alas, silence kills when one can interpret things which are not meant to be
interpreted but just to be felt. How long could I wait for the entrance of love
into my heart. She was never seen for so long and I broke. I broke and wanted
to scatter into pieces in front of her, but she aimed beyond my desires. She came, we met, separated again and with love
in one heart and ashes in the other one. The love filled was mine of course, but
the ashes were cold by then. I realized that it could have burned her if not love
grown there. But there was love, not for me, but for herself. She admired her
own self. She was changed from a boy-cut hairstyle girl to long and wonderful
haired young women. She could be less beautiful but I haven’t seen so many. There
was a big smile, blushing face, deep eyes…. Eyes which could take my soul if
she could have stayed there for some long. She aimed a poisonous arrow, Straight from her eyes at me, She looks at one and hits
another, How cruel and clever is she, She was
just smiling, and we had no words at all. We have spoken a lot, we know each
other well with our voices, but words, there were of no use when the presence
matters a lot.’ He started walking beside the horse, holding
the reins lightly and took him for some water nearby. ‘You know, dear, it was the most beautiful time,
I have ever had when I was in the state of love. She was amazed, childish was
she? Love never ties knots on the beauty you see as I believed otherwise that
appearances are often deceptive. It was not an infatuation of the age, but the
light which was indeed a blessing God that made me feel for her. She was a
wonderful creation of the Creator indeed. But I feel sorry for her that she
never felt the same as I did. I feel sorry for her that she couldn’t get her
heart full of gold, she just aimed wearing it to show to the world. But I feel
good that those ashes were cold enough by me and that they cannot be burned
again. But she had to go so she was gone. We always wish, we always can. The wish
is ours and not someone’s. But go, my love, and may God be with you. The parted will meet one day if fates will
allow. She
was the love of my life, which is uncountable. Love which is the light in the
dark. Love which is the hope in the despair. Love which starts from here and go
beyond everything. Love which starts from earth from a creation and goes to the
Creator, to the Almighty. Love is not being in alphabets and in numerals. No
phonemes of its own, none of his own creation.
It was He, who created love and bless few with it to see beyond the infinities.
It’s the world of Love…. And not all can understand love infinity.’ ‘I see, you want some rest just like me now.
Because all stories aren’t interesting at all.’ He wiped his tears with the same muffler he was
gifted by a friend of him to wear on his so called first and last date. Her
presence left her scent, which was still being felt by him. He smiled, ‘Thanks friend for this muffler and Thank God
for the love infinity……’ He showed all his love to Thoru, made him
comfortable to rest and returned in the world where it was all started. © 2017 Sarmad SalarAuthor's Note
